SPIEGEL editor Hilmar Schmundt asks himself: “How far along is the technology really?” and visits the IEEE VR in Reutlingen, where we were also chosen to present our newest research (we reported). After, he even paid a visit to our Immersive Deck.

Together with Illusion Walk CEO, Jim, he tries as much as he can: How does a handshake feel which I can virtually see and feel in reality at the same time? Is this wall “real” or an illusion? How did I get so quickly from an office building onto a rig in the North Sea?

For a short time after the flying visit, he is not sure anymore what is virtual and what is part of his reality. You could soon have the same experience: Starting May, we are opening our doors on a trial basis for the Beta of our newest experience. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter (@illusionwalk) and make sure not to miss any news about our official opening.
